My basic cable on the cape is...are you ready?....under $6 a month. I get all of the basic channels and then some. If you want movies in addition to that I'd sign up for netflix for $17 a month. And yes, I'd read more and use your library card often. You might consider also spending some of that time writing as well...since you are a very talented writer.
