The daylillies are already 5 inches tall. They are remarkably tough plants. By the time you return we will probably be seeing some real signs of spring. Unless of course we do the "New England Thing" and have a blizzard the day you return. Enjoy your vacation. You can't keep a good woman home on the farm.
