I just met a fascinating woman. I was in Starbucks waiting for my order of Chai and this exotic looking person was in line just in front of me. You know what it’s like… Chit…chat…this…that… And so we struck up this conversation. She was visiting her cousin, twice removed, she said, and it was her first time seeing the ocean. She was fascinated with everything about Cape Cod. The tides, the shoreline, the shells, the fish…anyway, we ended up having chai and coffee together. Her name is Adira Burchard. She’s from Montana! That’s one state I love. (Had a great time in Glacier National Park -but that’s a different story.)
Turns out she is a blogger! which is why she was in Starbucks in the first place….jumping on their free Internet. She does a lot of psychic readings and tarot stuff… Some magical mumbo and is very good at it. I promised to check it out and when I do, I’ll let you know. Just as a bit of a lark I asked if she could read me, right then and there. I thought it would be a hoot. Well, she said “no” as it takes her a bit of time to get into her psychic space and she has to honor the universe, etc. before she goes into the “zone” (my word, not hers.) But She did say she would try to “connect” later. So I gave her my email address and she promised to send me something later. OOOoooohhhhhh. Just think, getting a psychic reading from Adira Burchard. Somehow that name seems familiar. I wonder if she’s famous. I will have to google her.
So there you go. You never know who’ll you meet in a day. And I will certainly report back when I get the skinny on my psychic future! Ooooooohhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm.
I met her too! Extremely engaging and quite unique. Somebody i would definitely want to hear more from.
Awesome! I love those kind of days!!! There’s so many interesting people out there. Thanks for sharing!
I met Adira also! What a coincidence. Or is it?
(Actually, I met here in a past life.)
Past life? Tell me more!
Actually, it was in a very recently passed life. You see, I was in Arabia looking for some strong coffee and…. Oh, I’m being called away just now. Darned sceances!
Wait! Tell me more. Details of your encounter!!!
Just googled Adira Burchard and what I found was that Adira means ‘strong’ in Arabic and Burchard means ‘strong as a castle’ in English. Coincidence? Or perhaps it’s her blogger name.
I’m going to go look up what ‘weak weak’ in Arabic and English would sound like.
OOOmmmmmmm to you dear! May the universe shine on you today!
See you Friday!
Sounds like fun! I had my own psychic encounter this week–sort of. I had planned an interview with a local artist/author on Tuesday, but had to cancel at the last minute. He said he has always been psychic and had had several feelings that morning that I was going to cancel. We rescheduled, and I asked if I would keep that appointment. He just laughed, perhaps uncomfortably. I have already changed that appointment.
Ok, not an earth-shattering psychic encounter, but maybe when I do see him, I will ask him what I think of his new book. 🙂
Me too…..and we were riding camels that had coffee cup holders on the side!
