Want to wish you all a grand and glorious New Year. The year is already seven days old as I write this. Hope you had a fabu holiday. I did. Lots of people passing through, great food and drink! Had my annual plate of Nantucket Scallops last night in our farewell dinner to my California family. And today, well, once they are on the bus to the airport, it’s back to work.
So! Time to sort through things, clear out last year’s calendar, put up a new one on the wall and set strategies in motion.
Here’s my list of my resolves to-dos for the New Year. You can check on me later to see how I’m doing.
- Eat more fruit and vegetables. I’m going to buy an avocado today at the market and test out a new salad. That’s a start.
- Stretch every morning to get my muscles warm and increase my golf swing motion… and with this in mind, this is the year I will drop my golf handicap by at least 5 points! I’m determined. If I can only loosen my death grip on the golf club, things will go a lot easier.
- And finally, I will publish my “bodice ripper” again… this time with more “heat!” (I’m inspired by 50 shades of Grey – though I can’t go anywhere near that direction, if you know what I mean. And if you don’t, well, forget it.)
Tra la for now. Off to the bus station!
Bravo, Chapman… Avacados, stretching, and ripping! 2013 is going to be YOUR year, my dear! and we must carve out some time for “advencha’s”! Woo hoo to you!
Hope your transition back to “normal” goes well. Good luck with all of your plans for the new year. Happy 2013!
Mmmm, avocado! Happy New Year to you!
U a girl on fire!
