This time of year life can get pretty frantic. End of the year run arounds…. shopping, parties, meet and greet, run to the airport, run to the train, run to the store, run to get cards out the door, make those important phone calls, order that gift, pray that everything arrives before the holiday, clean the house, put up the decorations….
Is that enough for you?
I’m proud to say, most of that list is checked off and checked twice. But that only makes me nervous. When all things seem done and done, something is sure to pop up and knock me about. I’ve still got my cards to write and a few more gifts to wrap, food to buy, and a house to clean. But I’m shutting down at noon on Friday and focusing on all the domestics so that will help.
OOOPS! Just remembered, I have to cancel the oil burner cleaning guy… I can’t be here on Friday when he is scheduled…. so will just have to let the soot settle for another couple of weeks until things calm down. The heat is on, the furnace is fine… and if all I have to worry about is some soot settling… hey! that I can live with.
Sounds like you’ve got it all under control, Chapman! Good for you! I, on the other hand, have never been farther behind! Ah well, ’twill all get done at some point… or not – LOL!

Just imagine how wonderful you will feel when all you have to do is kick back and relax. Picturing you by your lovely fireplace, candles lit on the mantel, food and drink in plentiful supply. Wish I was there.
Dearest “A Fan” you are most welcome to join me around the fire with mantel candles buring, food and wine… anytime… but especially in the cold dark days of winter ahead…. make a plan to travel! 🙂
