I have been totally preoccupied with my golfgurls.com website for the last few weeks. With a July 31 deadline to have my latest e-book: The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide for Today’s Woman Golfer hanging over my head, I left poor Chapman Deering in the dust and focused on the other site.

Meantime… what’s been happening locally?
Spent a weekend in Maine with friends. Lots of fun… lobster in the dark by the chiminea, coffee at the beach (twice), a very short swing in the hammock and a great game of pitch and putt at a local golf course (very tiny but very hard) That and riding in the open jeep with my hair flying and my arms akimbo against the chilly winds. Oh! and a visit to “Best of Everything” to buy some fabu jewelry great facsimiles in the fashion of designer David Ereeeennn… (I keep mispronouncing his name…keeps coming out David Urine… but that’s another story….
What else…? Another kayak adventure to the island, lots of food… finally got off the Fat Flush diet… lost 9 pounds and have put 4 back on… I’m back nibbling on chips and sipping Mr. Dewar… what can I say….
And the fam has returned to CA… great times we had, but high school calls and they left this morning…. hope it was an uneventful ride home….
