Still at the Writer’s Conference. Big disappointment. The teacher who gave the class focused on how to write that hot love scene did not know how to teach. She never really engaged with the students… Which was a shame… She meandered through some random thoughts… She was ill prepared… I went to two classes… half the class bailed after the first class… i should have done the same… So I am trying out a couple of alternative classes…
One on how to write for magazines… The second on emotional glue… Which might be a good class if you’re trying to write a love story. But I’ve lost confidence in the quality of the teachers they’ve got teaching… Who selects these speakers anyway?
