I am sitting on the 9th floor balcony overlooking the 18th green. We are staying in the towers of Hammock Beach Resort in Jacksonville, Florida. The view is spectacular… the Atlantic Ocean is just beyond the fescu and short palms… rolling waves against a blue sky. I’m playing three days of golf this weekend… It’s the annual Tee Club adventure tour of fabu golf courses. Once a year 16 of us head somewhere exotic for a final weekend extravaganza of golf, fun and food.
Just finished playing the Ocean Course. I did ok…lost two balls -one in the water…and one on the fairway in plain site… don’t ask! a regular mystery! But it was a lot of fun and I suspect our team did ok… won’t know until Sunday nite when the winners are announced.
Tonite we dine in St. Augustine and tomorrow, drive down to Daytona to Legends International for our second day. Having a great time. TTFN
